Safety Guidelines

It has been a joy to drive around NH this summer and see golfers out enjoying a “normal” summer activity.  Thanks to the Friel’s and other course owners for following CDC and State guidelines and making golf a safe activity.

We wanted to share some of the additional changes our tournament committee agreed upon to protect the safety and social distancing guidelines for players, volunteers and staff members at Green Meadow.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ashley Fudala at afudala@bgcn.com.  We look forward to seeing you on September 16th!

  1. We are using a digital scoring system that players will access from their phones. This will eliminate the passing of paper scorecards and make final scoring more expedient.
  2. Per Governor Sununus executive order requiring masks for scheduled gathers of more than 100 people, masks are requires when social distancing of six feet or more cannot be maintained.
  3. Prior to the day of the tournament cart assignments/starting holes will be sent to all team captains. They will also be posted at the tournament. We ask that you go directly to your carts (no registration needed).
  4. There will be two tents located by the cart set-up: one for purchasing mulligans and raffle tickets and the other to answer any questions/concerns.
  5. Individually wrapped breakfast pastries and coffee will be available on the patio.
  6. On your cart will be your golf gifts, snacks and waters.  We will not have communal drink/snack stations on the course but the beverage cart will still circulate throughout the tournament!
  7. The lunch tent will have seating inside and out to help with social distancing.
  8. We will have a nice assortment of boxed lunches this year.  Feel free to select your lunch and stay for the program or depart if you prefer.
If you have any suggestions or have participated in other tournaments that ran things differently, please feel free to contact us.  Everyone’s safety is of top concern as is having a fantastic day of golf in support of the 3,000 members at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua!
